This last New Year’s Eve was one for the boooooks! I had the honor of photographing two of the most beautiful people, Katie Anne and Colin, on their NYE wedding celebration. They were my last couple of 2021 and my first of 2022! It was the best way to end a season AND begin it, all in one night!

Their whole day was filled with love, big smiles and the purest joy. We started our day off at Embassy Suites in downtown Portland, made the quick hop over to St. Patrick’s Church in NW Portland for a beautiful Catholic ceremony, then back down to the Embassy Suites for the reception! I have seen dance floors last a long time but seriously, this dance party went on for FIVE STRAIGHT HOURS.

Annnnd let me tell you all - if you think you have seen people get down to Sweet Home Alabama …. I can assure you that unless it was a room full of Alabama fans … on the night Alabama takes a big win … then you have NOT seen the real deal. My face hurt from smiling so much watching Katie Anne’s family sing along, screaming ‘ROLL TIDE ROLL’.
